Production and Operation of Green Hydrogen/Ammonia

2. Integreted CMEP & Refuelling Station
+ Finnish Hydrogen Circlular Logistics Route

HydrogenEU Energy is creating a model circular hydrogen logistics route in Finland, linking Rovaniemi, Helsinki and Turku in an integrated land-sea network to decarbonise heavy freight transport.

The project deploys hydrogen fuel cell lorries supported by combined production-refuelling stations at 300-km intervals. Using local renewable energy for on-site green hydrogen ensures stable, cost-effective and low-carbon fuel supply. Member vehicles receive priority refuelling and discounted hydrogen, cutting operating costs.

Via Turku Port, the route connects to global green energy trade. Smart dispatch and carbon tracking provide reliable, transparent zero-carbon logistics. By 2035, we plan to sell 30,000 hydrogen HGVs across the Nordics, supporting Finland’s transport decarbonisation and setting a benchmark for cross-border green transport ecosystems..

Application Scenario

  • Establishing a hydrogen corridor refuelling network across the Iberian Peninsula to supply green hydrogen for heavy-duty fuel cell trucks.
  • 100 Integrated H₂ Production-Refuelling Stations:
  • Initial 2,000km circular hydrogen highway (one station per 200km), expanding to 20,000km
  • Phase 1 (2026-2028): 10 stations (3 tonnes/day capacity each)
  • Phase 2 (2029-2035): 90 additional stations (3 tonnes/day each)
